Last year’s Ducky Derby was a win so close to the Child Abuse Prevention Council. Winner, Noah, a preschooler who has been with CAPC since he was an infant had no idea someone adopted a duck under his name. When his family found out that HE won the grand prize trip to Disneyland they were in disbelief and beyond grateful. They were planning to go to Disneyland in November 2016 but unfortunately Noah got really sick and the family had to cancel all the plans. Fast forward a few months, we just received news that Noah came back from a weekend filled with rides, hugs from Disney characters and a lot of souvenirs. Disneyland heard about Noah’s story and they let the whole family in for free!

Here are some heartfelt words from Noah’s Grandma, ”

“I would like to extend a thank you to the Derby Ducky sponsors who made this trip a dream come true. Not just for the babies but for grandma too. I believe Noah had a grand time with his big sister, Taquiyyah, his eldest brother, Christian and his older brother Jayden. And grandpa asleep back at the Days Inn. The weather was simply perfect, and the Disney Family simply wonderful. Well let me know when the fundraiser starts this year so we can give an opportunity to a special little one.”
