The Suicide Prevention Program works with youth in Lodi, Tracy, Lincoln, Manteca, Escalon, and Linden Unified School Districts as well as Able Charter schools to bring awareness of Suicide Prevention and offer early intervention services to those at risk. Evidence Based Practices for suicide prevention include the Yellow Ribbon campaign, SafeTALK, Break Free from Depression, and CAST – Coping And Support Training. Services will include training for staff and students to assist youth in crisis. Mental Health Specialists are on various high school campuses within these districts and are trained to offer: depression screenings, support groups and referrals for medication and psychological consultations. If you would like to host a Yellow Ribbon or SafeTALK training at your school/agency/company – please contact me! Thank you for your commitment in making everyone’s mental health a priority and supporting those in crisis.
